Schluter Systems All-Set modified tile thin set for use with Kerdi and Ditra products.
Previously, premium-grade unmodified mortars were necessary to install Schluter Kerdi and Ditra products. The reasoning was simple, Schluter couldn’t control additives in other vendors modified mortars and, therefore, couldn’t warranty the installation. Unmodified mortars lack the additives (latex, etc…) and would dry properly but cheaper mortars don’t bond well (or at all) to porcelain tile and the Kerdi/Ditra resulting in failed installations.
All-Set mortar is made by Schluter and is made to dry properly and maintain the warranty while gaining the significant benefits of modified mortars. Namely, long open times (3-ish hours) and superior adhesion especially when compared to cheap thin sets.

Schluter ALL-SET® is smooth and creamy, as well as easy to handle and spread. It is sag-resistant and ideal for setting tile on both horizontal and vertical surfaces. Schluter ALL-SET® is suitable for use with ceramic, porcelain, and stone tile, including large and heavy tile, in conjunction with Schluter®-Systems’ uncoupling and waterproofing membranes (e.g., DITRA, DITRA-HEAT, KERDI, etc.), the Schluter®-Shower System, and KERDI-BOARD. Schluter ALL-SET® can be used in both interior and exterior systems and systems and is available in both grey and white.
